Who We Are
ServingHandz began in 2022 when one high school student, Sai Harish Balamurugan, was moved by the homelessness crisis in their community. With support from the Tracy Sri Sathya Baba Foundation, they transformed their concern into action.
Today, we've grown into a multi-chapter organization with over 100 student volunteers across 5 communities. Our mission remains unchanged: to support homeless individuals and underserved communities through compassionate service, essential resources, and youth-led initiatives.
We believe that everyone deserves dignity, respect, and access to basic necessities. Through our collective efforts, we aim to create a more compassionate and equitable society.

Providing Warmth and Dignity
About the Campaign
The Winter Warmth Campaign is our largest annual initiative, running from November through January. During these critical winter months, we collect and distribute warm clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, and other cold-weather essentials to homeless individuals in our community.
Last year, we distributed over 500 winter items to those in need, providing not just physical warmth but also a sense of dignity and care during the harshest months of the year.
